Pirate Stranded Island environment

I really wanted to give myself a challenge in order to get better at 3d environments and this was the perfect project as I had to learn a lot of software and techniques that were completely new to me. The first environment i have created solo. I do admit I still have a lot to learn when it comes to texturing and especially lighting, However I believe I have learned a lot during this personal project and I will continue to learn more to make better and more complex environments.
